Salah's agent Ramy Abbas Issa took to social media on Friday to post a laughing emoji which has left Carragher incensed. Abbas Issa's tweet also comes on the same day as Salah entered the final year of his Liverpool contract, with both parties still yet to agree on a new deal to keep him at the club beyond next summer. And while it is currently unknown as to what Issa's tweet is referencing, Carragher appears to have had enough, responding to Issa directly to tell him stop the 'cryptic cr*p'. Mohamed Salah's (right) agent Ramy Abbas Issa (left) posted a cryptic tweet on Friday The tweet containing just a laughing emoji has irritated Liverpool icon Jamie Carragher Carragher wrote: 'All Reds love your client, and if he is to leave next summer we will wish him well & say a big thank you. But we can do without this cryptic crap for the next 12 months! @MoSalah have a word!!' It's not the first time Abbas Issa has posted a cryptic tweet in relation to Salah's contract situation. In March, Salah's future was plunged into doubt when Issa posted a similar tweet shortly after Jurgen Klopp gave an update on his contract. Salah has been angling for a new deal since December 2020 — he signed his last extension in July 2018 — and has consistently said the outcome is in Liverpool’s hands. Sportsmail understands that the Egyptian star want £400,000 per week, which would make him comfortably the highest paid player in the club’s history. Klopp claimed back in March that talks had been ongoing but reports later suggested that discussions had not taken place since December. Abbas Issa then posted a tweet with seven crying-with-laughter emojis, an hour after Klopp had spoken, which caused conjecture. When the German was asked about contracts soon after, he said: ‘I understand these questions but the club is in talks with all the agents and all the people. Until then it makes no sense. ‘The Mo question, nothing new happened, everything is fine. Mo is giving absolutely everything to the club. The club is in talks with all the agents and that is how it should be.’ More to follow Share or comment on this article: All rights reserved for this news site (dailymail) and under his responsibility
