For years it was known as Henman Hill, then Murray Mount, but Wimbledon's famous viewing spot has been renamed Norrie Knoll amid the British No 1's run to the semi-finals.

In echoes of former British No 1s of the past, Norrie put fans through the wringer on Tuesday, with a five-set epic on Court One.

The 26-year-old defeated David Goffin in a thriller, beating the Belgian 3-6, 7-5, 2-6, 6-3, 7-5 in front of atmosphere reminiscent of the glory days of Tim Henman and Andy Murray

It wasn't just inside the court that fans were cheering Norrie on, crowds also gathered on Wimbledon's most famous hill to watch the quarter-final clash and support the new hero
