Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Rodolfo Castro insisted taking his cell phone out onto the field was 'very unintentional'.
The 23-year-old's phone slipped out of his pocket as he safely slid to third during the Pirates's 6-4 defeat to the Arizona Diamondbacks Tuesday night.
Castro had to make a dash to reach third after teammate Oneil Cruz hit a single into center field and as he slid in headfirst, his cell phone fell out of his back left pocket.

The Dominican Republic native was technically in violation of MLB's regulation prohibiting electronic devices on the field or in the dugout.
It is not yet apparent if he will face discipline but MLB is looking into the matter, per The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal.
Castro has since insisted that it was a mistake that he never intended to happened and claimed that it is 'horrible' to have happened to him.
'In all reality, I just remember getting dressed, putting my pants on, getting something to eat, using the restroom,' Castro said, via team interpreter Mike Gonzalez.
