Pundits Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher have engaged in a spirited exchange on Twitter ahead of Manchester United's second Premier fixture at Brentford.

The online sparring began after Neville posted a Tweet asking for opinions on Saturday's game at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Liverpool legend was quick to quote tweet his colleague, writing:

Never one to take banter lying down, Neville pointed out the success United had enjoyed during his years with the club:
