Maurizio Sarri has heaped heaped expectations on Roma boss Jose Mourinho for this year's Serie A campaign.
The former Chelsea boss is currently in charge at Serie A club Lazio, and ahead of the new season didn't waste any time in engaging in a war of words with his old rival.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of team's second game of the Serie A campaign as they play host to Bologna, Sarri spoke about the expectations on the Europa Conference League winners following a successful transfer window:
'If someone spent money this summer it's Roma. They've spent a lot of it.'

Roma have brought in a number of big-name signings over the summer window including Paulo Dybala, Georginio Wijnaldum, and Nemanja Matic, with Mourinho looking to build on his team's sixth-placed finish last season.
Mourinho recently stated that he expects Lazio to be also involved in this year's title race in Serie A, prompting Sarri to retort:
