Furious New York Yankees fans took to social media in their droves Tuesday night after the team lost a FIFTH straight series to further squander their lead at the top of the AL East.
The Bronx Bombers are in a slump and have struggled since the All-Star break, losing recent series against the Mariners (twice), Cardinals, Red Sox and - most recently - Rays.
They are 2-11 in their last 13 games, and have seen their division lead fall to single digits in recent days - knowing another loss against the second-placed Rays tonight would make that even worse.

With that in mind, fans were quick to slam the Yankees on social media in the wake of Tuesday's 3-1 defeat, with one simply noting: 'Why do I keep coming here?'
