Paul Pogba has been labelled a ‘coward, traitor and hypocrite’ by his own brother after the former Manchester United star made allegations of blackmail against his older sibling.

Mathias Pogba, 32, has responded after the Juventus midfielder, 29, told police he was held hostage by two hooded gunmen as part of an £11million extortion plot organised by his brother and childhood friends. The gang, Pogba claims, wanted money for ‘protection services’ dating back 13 years.

But Mathias, a forward once of Wrexham, Crewe and Crawley, has hit back in a lengthy social-media post.
