Liverpool will not challenge Manchester City for this season's Premier League title and already face a battle to qualify for next season's Champions League, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.

Jurgen Klopp's men have drawn half of their six top-flight games this season following their goalless stalemate at Goodison Park in Saturday's Merseyside derby.

The Reds were fortunate not to suffer their second defeat of the campaign, with Conor Coady having a goal ruled out by VAR and Neal Maupay squandering their best chance.

And speaking on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor believes the current form of Arsenal and Tottenham - who sit third - means the Reds face a fight on their hands.

Asked whether Liverpool could miss out on the top four, Agbonlahor replied: '100 per cent. This is not a battle for the title. Liverpool, for me, are not fighting for the Premier League title this season.
