The Blues started their Champions League campaign with a trip to Croatia, and they fell behind in the 13th minute when Mislav Orsic raced clear before dinking the ball beyond Kepa Arrizabalaga. Chelsea searched for an equaliser, but could not find it as they suffered their third loss of the season, and Tuchel did not hold back when analysing his team's display. Thomas Tuchel was left bitterly disappointed as Chelsea lost their opening group game Mislav Orsic scored the only goal of the game as Chelsea slipped to another defeat 'It’s an under-performance from us and it’s the same story,' he told BT Sport. 'We have OK starts, we don’t take our half-chances, we don’t feel it when the game is there to be put to bed in the first 15-20 minutes, and then we concede from one counter-attack which is far too easy and from there we struggle and lose the match. 'We’re clearly not where we need to be and where we can be, so it's on me, it’s on us. At the moment everything is missing.' Chelsea spent over £250m in the recent transfer window, which included signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona on deadline day. The Gabon striker made his debut for the side in Zagreb, but failed to have the desired impact before he was substituted in the second half. However, Tuchel refused to single out Aubameyang for criticism. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang had an evening to forget as he made his Chelsea debut 'I will not talk about individuals today. We play as a team, we lose as a team,' he added. Chelsea have left themselves plenty of work to do to qualify from their group, and they have also made an unimpressive start to their domestic campaign, losing to Leeds and Southampton in the opening weeks of the season. Tuchel has acknowledged that he must now lift his players for their west London derby with Fulham on Saturday. Speaking about the side's current issues, he continued: 'It's nothing to do with a worry, it's a reality. 'I need to try and get a reaction out of them before the next match.'
