A spat emerged on Twitter following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' opening win of the new NFL season against the Dallas Cowboys (19-3), as two players from both teams exchanged beef over the legality of a chip block. 

Tampa Bay running back Leonard Fournette brutally waded into Dallas' linebacker Micah Parsons with a minute left in the second quarter of Sunday's game. The hit took place when Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady threw and completed a 48-yard pass to Julio Jones, which led to a field goal that provided Tampa Bay a 12-3 lead.

Before the block, Parsons had broken into the left side of the Buccaneers' offensive line and had been engaged in a bull-rush tackle with Josh Wells. Fournette then gave a right shoulder chip tackle into Parson's chest, prompting him to fall onto the field.
