NFL football pool, pick'em, office pool, confidence picks: Back the Denver Broncos in Week 2, 2022

Despite Seattle spoiling Russell Wilson's return and the 49ers falling to the Bears, oddsmakers still aren't convinced those Week 1 results will become a trend. San Francisco is a 9.5-point favorite over the Seahawks in the latest Week 2 NFL odds at Caesars Sportsbook. That could make the Niners popular in Week 2 NFL office pool picks, with many being fairly confident that San Fran wins straight-up. But those Week 1 results should at least cause you to consider other options with your NFL confidence pool picks. Before you make your NFL predictions, you need to see the Week 2 NFL football pool picks from SportsLine's proven model.

The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up more than $7,500 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception. The model enters Week 2 of the 2022 NFL season on an incredible 139-98 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season.

More importantly for NFL confidence pool players, the model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past six years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94% of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.

Now, the model has simulated the entire Week 2 NFL schedule 10,000 times and generated its optimal NFL pick'em plays. Go to SportsLine to see them now.

Top Week 2 NFL office pool predictions

One of the top Week 2 NFL predictions from the model: The Denver Broncos (-10) comfortably beat the Houston Texans at home. Both teams are winless, with the Texans tying the Colts in Week 1 and Denver losing to Seattle. While Houston was even to Indy on the scoreboard, the Colts dominated on the stat sheet, outgaining Houston in total yards, 517-299.

The Texans were last in the NFL in rushing last year, while ranking second-worst in stopping the run. It doesn't appear like much has changed since the team averaged just 2.8 yards per rush and gave up 161 yards to Jonathan Taylor. Meanwhile, the Broncos averaged 5.2 yards per carry in their MNF loss and should have punched in two touchdowns on the ground if not for ill-timed fumbles.

Denver will be rocking for Wilson's home debut and the Texans are 4-12 over their last 16 road games. The model has the Broncos not having the same issues on Sunday as they had on Monday, with Denver prevailing by 11 points. See the rest of the model's Week 2 NFL pool picks here.

How to make Week 2 NFL office pool picks
