A video of a new hybrid sport fusing tennis and cricket has caught the eyes of an Australian Test star, with Queenslander Marnus Labuschagne keen to give it a crack.

The sport of Crinnis combines elements of tennis and cricket and Labuschagne shared a video of the sport on Twitter, urging some of his Test teammates to have a go with him. 

 'When are we playing David Warner, Steve Smith, Usman Khawaja?' Labuschagne asked.

The rules are very simple. It follows the same basic formats as doubles tennis, except the players use cricket bats instead of tennis racquets.

To return the ball over the 'net', players must first bat the ball into the ground so it goes over on a single bounce. If the ball bounces twice on your side of the court, or
