In the same stadium where they had lost the Super Bowl two years prior, Patrick Mahomes put on a performance that was worthy of its own title.
Mahomes threw for 249 yards and three touchdowns while the Chiefs put up a total of 417 yards of offense in their 41-31 demolition of the Buccaneers.
The tone for the Chiefs win was set early on in the second quarter - with Kansas City already up 14-3. Mahomes faked a handoff to his fullback and rolled right, running toward the end zone.
With linebacker Devin White in between him and a touchdown, he spun out of the way, looked up and flicked the ball through the air into the waiting arms of running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire who caught it for the score.
