Judge hit his 62nd home run of the season on Tuesday night vs. the Rangers, breaking the previous AL record of 61 held by Maris Jr.'s father, Yankees great Roger Maris.
However, the question of the overall single-season record remains a more contentious one, as Judge trails Barry Bonds (73) and Mark McGwire's (70) single season marks, though the pair have admitted to using steroids.
Aaron Judge broke Roger Maris' AL record on Tuesday, and Maris' son thinks the all-time record is now Judge's too
