Antonio Conte has again warned Tottenham Hotspur need more signings if they are to compete at the highest level after they were held to a 0-0 draw by Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League.
Spurs were much improved from their humbling in the north London derby defeat to Arsenal on Saturday but could not find a way through a stubborn Frankfurt defence.
Conte's side have won just one of their three Champions League games so far but still sit second in their group, two points behind leaders Sporting Lisbon.

Spurs brought in a total of seven players in the summer, including the likes of Richarlison and Yves Bissouma, at a cost of around £170million, but the Italian admitted last month that his team were at least three transfer windows away from being title contenders.
And Conte reiterated his view that Spurs were still a way off challenging for the top honours following the stalemate in Germany.
'We weren't able last season to face two competitions,' Conte said.
'Now we have to go step by step, have patience, take time, you need to have time and to build an important squad to face a competition like the Champions League.
