Jarome Luai has chosen to rub salt in Ryan Matterson's wounds after responding to the Eels star's complaints following his hefty grand final fine.
The Parra gun will miss his side's first three rounds of next season after being stung for his third offence this year with a crusher tackle on Dylan Edwards in their miserable loss to Penrith.
Matterson had the choice of sitting out for three weeks or copping a $4000 fine and his decision to opt for the former has not sat well with some fans amid claims he values money over the team.
