Dallas-based Yankees fan Ashin Rangani was in the right spot on Tuesday night to catch Aaron Judge's historic 62nd home run of the season, only to get 'bodied out' by another spectator for the souvenir valued at $2 million.

'I'm telling you, I was sure,' Rangani told the New York Post after Judge set the American League home run record at Choctaw Stadium in Arlington, Texas. 'There was nobody next to me. And he did a good job. He bodied everyone out and he had a glove. I didn't see him coming at all. He caught it right in front of me.'

Rangani had been recording the entire sequence until the ball approached his vicinity in the left-field stands.

'At that point, I was in shock,' he said. 'I recorded everything right until it was maybe 20 feet away. Threw my phone down and then I was kind of shaking. When he went over and caught it, I had a little bit of, 'That was me! That's mine!' But also shaking in excitement and just being part of history.'

Cory Youmans, the fan who allegedly bodied Rangani out of position for the homer, has already turned down offers of $2million, according to Front Office Sports. Youmans isn't exactly starved for cash. As vice president of Fisher Investments, he helps manage $197 billion in worldwide assets, USA Today reported.

After catching the ball, Youmans was quickly surrounded by security and taken away.

'He was real nervous,' Rangani said. 'He was shaking and pale. I went over there and we were just jumping and celebrating together.'

Rangani did not seem upset, though.

Instead, as seen in a self-shot video, Rangani appeared to be celebrating Yousmans' good fortune.

'This dude caught this s*** right here,' Rangani said. 'He caught it! He caught it!'

As he told the Post, Rangani's tickets had been purchased by his boss, who was being held at the top of Section 31 until Judge's at-bat was over. As it turned out, the ball sailed directly to the seat belonging to Rangani's boss.

'[My boss] was waiting at the top of the steps [of section 31] because they wouldn't let him down the steps until Judge was done batting because of the anticipation,' Rangani said. 'It came right where he was sitting, but what can you do?'
