Azeem Rafiq has been given a 10-day deadline to confirm he will participate in the ECB's racism trial or risk having the cases thrown out.
Sportsmail revealed last month that the former Yorkshire off-spinner has threatened not to appear unless the Cricket Discipline Commission hearing into misconduct charges against seven of his former team-mates takes place in public, a demand which the ECB are strongly resisting.
