The Baggies manager, who is under pressure with the club in the Championship relegation zone, appeared to take issue at the supporter telling him to 'get out of our effing club.' Bruce, 61, told the fan to act like a 'grown man' after he was 'shouting and bawling', while the fan claimed Bruce's son, Alex, who is first team assistant coach, raised his middle finger at him from the team bus. Under-fire West Bromwich Albion boss Steve Bruce has been filmed confronting an irate supporter following Wednesday night's 1-0 defeat at Preston North End Bruce's Baggies have won just once in their opening 12 Championship games to sit in 22nd In the 24-second video clip, posted by Andrew Beaven on Twitter, Bruce can be seen walking over and asking: 'What do you expect him to do when you're shouting and bawling?' The fan replies: 'I'm shouting and bawling mate, this is my club, this is my club.' Bruce then says: 'I agree with you, I totally agree with you' before adding 'you're a grown man' - a possible implication he should grow up. The fan responds: 'Of course I am. So have I done something wrong? I'm not sticking my fingers up, I'm not swearing, there's kids about.' Bruce counters: 'You were [swearing] to start with. Get out of our effing club you were shouting.' Baggies fan Andrew Beaven posted the video and suggested that Alex Bruce, son of Steve, raised his middle finger at him The video then cuts off as the fan appears to start repeating that sentiment. Beaven wrote on Twitter in a post tagging West Brom's account: 'Steve Bruce claiming that I swore at him last night, after his son (employee of yours) gave me & my 13 yr old son the middle finger! 'I never swore at him, I simply told him to get out of my club, and his brat of a son stuck his finger up at us!!!' In a follow-up, he wrote: 'Come on Albion!!! Why hasn't he gone yet!!! 'Had his son @AlexBruce84 giving me the middle finger last night whilst he sat on the team bus as I stood next to my 13 year old son!!!! West Brom are third bottom in the Championship table after a terrible start to the season West Brom's Jed Wallace reacts after Preston took an early lead in Wednesday night's game 'Very classy that, as classy as your old man's managing ability!!!' The Baggies lost 1-0 to an early Emil Riis Jakobsen goal at Deepdale, leaving them third bottom of the table with only one win from their opening 12 games this season. Bruce replaced Valerien Ismael as West Brom's manager back in February with the club sitting seventh in the table but they went on to finish 10th. The manager is expected to remain in charge for Saturday's home game with Luton but his future at the club looks in doubt if the poor results continue. After the Preston setback, Bruce was asked about his future and responded: 'That's for other people. My frustration is we've never been able to arrest the slide. When you win one out of your first 12, then you have to accept what's coming. 'Unless I hear different, I'll crack on. I still get up in the morning, want to come to work. It burns inside of me, especially as it is at the minute.' Share or comment on this article: All rights reserved for this news site (dailymail) and under his responsibility
