NFL DFS: Best DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy football picks, stacks, strategy for Week 5, 2022

When putting together your NFL DFS strategy, you can never go wrong with targeting players from high-scoring games. Eagles vs. Cardinals has an over/under of 49 at Caesars Sportsbook, the highest of the Week 5 Sunday games. Dual-threat quarterbacks like Jalen Hurts and Kyler Murray could be popular NFL DFS picks, as will dynamic players such as A.J. Brown, Miles Sanders and Marquise Brown. Which players should you target for your NFL DFS stacks? Before you make your NFL DFS picks for Week 5, be sure to see the NFL DFS advice, strategy and player projections from SportsLine daily Fantasy expert Mike McClure.

McClure is a legendary professional DFS player with over $2 million in career winnings. His methodology has led to enormous cashes on FanDuel and DraftKings. He took down two high-stakes tournaments on FanDuel in 2020 and recorded a pair of top-10 finishes in tournaments with over 130,000 entrants on DraftKings. His lineups also finished inside the top 1% in more than a dozen other tournaments.

He uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every snap of NFL action, taking factors such as matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best DFS values that he shares only with members at SportsLine.

This year, he's already won the DraftKings Millionaire Maker, crushing the Rams vs. 49ers Monday Night Football game. Now, McClure has turned his attention to Sunday's Week 5 slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see his picks and analysis at SportsLine.

Top NFL DFS picks for Week 5

One of McClure's top NFL DFS picks for Week 5 is Rams receiver Cooper Kupp at $9,600 on DraftKings and $9,500 on FanDuel. Even with his record-breaking season last year, Kupp set a new career-high with 14 receptions last week. He was targeted an astounding 19 times and converted those into 122 yards, his third 100-yard game of the year.

Kupp is in the running to win the Receiving Triple Crown in back-to-back years since he leads the league in receptions (42), ranks fourth in yards (402) and is third in touchdowns (three). He's been targeted 54 times compared to every other Rams receiver drawing just 39 targets combined. L.A. plays Dallas on Sunday and the Cowboys have allowed just three passing TDs, but all of them went to wide receivers.

Part of McClure's optimal NFL DFS strategy includes rostering Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette at $6,900 on DraftKings and $7,800 on FanDuel. Tampa all but ignored the run in last week's loss, but Fournette made an impact through the air with 57 yards and a touchdown. He is the focal point of the Bucs' offense, ranking ninth in the NFL in touches and averaging 83.8 scrimmage yards per game.

Fournette has hit paydirt three times in his last four games versus the Falcons. He's primed to both rack up yardage and find the endzone on Sunday after Atlanta gave up 195 total yards and one touchdown to Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt last week.
