The NFL's star players certainly didn't disappoint last week, when players like Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Austin Ekeler and Travis Kelce were all among the top two Fantasy performers. Those who splurge on pricy options as Week 6 NFL DFS picks are hoping for the same, but with an NFL DFS salary cap on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel, rostering the big-name, expensive players means you'll have to search for value to complete your daily Fantasy football lineups.

That's when exploiting the NFL DFS matchups comes into play. Before making any NFL DFS picks for Week 6, be sure to see the NFL DFS advice, strategy and player projections from SportsLine daily Fantasy expert Mike McClure.

McClure is a legendary professional DFS player with over $2 million in career winnings. His methodology has led to enormous cashes on FanDuel and DraftKings. He took down two high-stakes tournaments on FanDuel in 2020 and recorded a pair of top-10 finishes in tournaments with over 130,000 entrants on DraftKings. His lineups also finished inside the top 1% in more than a dozen other tournaments.

He uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every snap of NFL action, taking factors such as matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best DFS values that he shares only with members at SportsLine.

This year, he's already won the DraftKings Millionaire Maker twice and the FanDuel Million once. Now, McClure has turned his attention to Sunday's Week 6 slate and locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks. You can only see his picks and analysis at SportsLine.

Top NFL DFS picks for Week 6

One of McClure's top NFL DFS picks for Week 6 is Ravens tight end Mark Andrews at $7,000 on DraftKings and $7,800 on FanDuel. After a rare off-game in Week 4, the Andrews that Fantasy owners have come to love returned in Week 5 against the Bengals. He had eight grabs for 89 yards and a touchdown and now ranks second among tight ends in Fantasy points for the season.

Last year, Andrews' 107 catches were the third-most ever by a tight end and he's on pace for even more this season. He's also already scored four touchdowns in five games and is on pace for a career-high in TD grabs as well. He'll look to continue both paces against the Giants in Week 6, who have yet to face even an above-average tight end this year. Andrews is elite, and New York did allow a touchdown to a tight end last week, so don't be surprised if he ends up in the end zone again on Sunday.

Part of McClure's optimal NFL DFS strategy includes rostering Seahawks receiver Tyler Lockett at $5,600 on DraftKings and $7,500 on FanDuel. Lockett is coming off his best game of the season by posting a 5-104-2 stat line in Week 5. He quietly has produced the seventh-most Fantasy points among receivers over the last four weeks.

Lockett is on pace for career-highs in receptions and yards, as the QB change from Russell Wilson to Geno Smith has been a boon to his production. The receiver has a mouthwatering matchup on Sunday against the Cardinals, whom Lockett has lit up over the last two years. Over the four games, Lockett has averaged 120 receiving yards with six TDs over that span, so you can see why McClure is high on him for Week 6. You can see the rest of McClure's NFL DFS advice here.
