Yankees superstar Aaron Judge could be set for a baseline deal of at least $300million this winter after an outstanding season, according to a report. 

After completing a historic season, the 30-year-old will enter free agency this winter and is set to become the offseason most sought-after free agent. 

This season Judge has increased his value to the Yankees roster and has other teams clamoring after him, meaning he is sure to be in for a lucrative payday.

A deal for the star slugger 'will most certainly clear $300m' and may even edge closer to the $400m mark, according to a report by the New York Post. 

According to the report, the general consensus was that the baseline figure Judge could see dangled in front of him is $300m but some executives and agents have predicted that it could rise even higher. 

'He certainly will clear $300 million. But is he closer to $400 million than $300 million? Maybe,' one rival executive says. 'He's that important to the wealthiest team.'

They also suggested that the Yankees could be in with a shot of tying Judge down if they come close to the magic figure.
