From a quarterback to another, Ryan Fitpatrick has advised Jets star Zach Wilson to stop pampering himself and to start trusting his teammates more often following Sunday's loss to the Patriots (17-22). 

Fitzpatrick, 39, and who played for the Jets over the course of two seasons between 2015 and 2016, is asking the second-year quarterback to play more consistently if he is to become the franchise's poster boy for the years to come. 

'Well, they drafted him so high for a reason,' Fitzpatrick told The New York Post. 'I think they're really excited and they've surrounded him with a lot of good talent.'
