England and Pakistan will meet in an enticing T20 World Cup final this weekend as an action-packed tournament reaches its conclusion.

Jos Buttler's side booked their spot in the Melbourne final on Thursday as they demolished a hapless India, blasting their way to the 169 target without dropping a wicket.

England come up against Pakistan - who they recently edged 4-3 in a seven-match warm-up series - in the final. Pakistan beat New Zealand by seven wickets on Wednesday to reach the grand finale.

Having brushed aside India, who stood alongside England as the pre-tournament favourites, Buttler's side now enter the final as the bookies' pick to prevail. England last won the T20 World Cup back in 2010.

In fact, it looked as if Pakistan’s World Cup was already over when they were edged out by India in heart-breaking fashion at the MCG and then lost to Zimbabwe in their second game.

But somehow they reached the last four – considerably helped by the Netherlands beating South Africa – and now they will return to Melbourne after a remarkable night at the SCG.

Sportsmail takes you through the everything you need to know ahead of the final below.

When is Pakistan vs England?

The T20 World Cup final between Pakistan and England will take place on Sunday, November 13.

The clash will get underway at 8am UK time, which is 7pm local time.

The final, which will be a rematch of the 1992 50-over final when Pakistan’s ‘cornered tigers’ defeated Graham Gooch’s side, will poetically again be played at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

And while England are looking to win a first World Cup since 2010, Pakistan last did so in 2009.
