Four-time British motorcycling champion Keith Farmer, who was won of Northern Ireland's most successful competitors in the sport, dies unexpectedly at age 35 Northern Irish motorcycling legend Keither Farmer has died at age 35 Farmer was a four-time British champion after success in 2011, 2012, 2017, 2018 He retired from racing in September last year due to 'two relatively big crashes'

Four-time British motorcycling champion Keith Farmer has passed away suddenly at the age of 35.

Farmer was regarded as one of Northern Ireland's greatest motorcyclists ever after his dominant period in the sport through the 2010's.

The Northern Irish racer won the National Superstock 600 title in 2011 and National Superstock 1000cc successes followed in 2012 and 2018. He also won the British Supersport title in 2017. 

In a Facebook post on Thursday, his brother wrote: I'm lost for words our little brother left us at 1.45 this morning with us all by his side. 

'Life will never be the same again, he made us all so proud and he will be very sorely missed.
