Boxing promoter Ben Shalom has confirmed that Chris Eubank Jr has agreed to fight domestic rival Liam Smith, with the bout due to take place in early 2023.
Eubank Jr was set to face Conor Benn in a grudge match last month, but the fight was scrapped at the eleventh hour after the latter tested positive for the banned substance clomifene. He has since revealed that he failed two drugs tests in the build-up to that clash.
