The Houston Astros were cause for celebration for many across Texas this week, although arguably none more so than The Lone Star State legend Mattress Mack. 

Its World Series win over Philadelphia earned the super fan -- otherwise known as Jim McIngvale -- an astonishing $75million payday after wagering a reported $10m on his Astros. 

McIngvale's winnings now hold the record for the largest legal payout in US sports betting history.
