Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai said Kyrie Irving 'has to show people that he's sorry' before being allowed to return to the team following his 'anti-Semitic' tweet.
New Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn revealed before the team's 110-95 win against the Los Angeles Clippers Saturday that Irving would not play vs. Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday.
And Tsai spoke during the matchup at the Crypto.com Arena, pointing out that Irving only apologized after he was banned by the team.
'He still has work to do,' Tsai told The Post.
'He has to show people that he's sorry.
'What's important — and what people miss — is he only apologized after he was suspended.'

The embattled Nets star was banned by the team last week 'until he satisfies a series of objective remedial measures that address the harmful impact of his conduct' after posting a link to the Amazon page of a film based on a book described as 'anti-Semitic'.
Irving could have potentially made his comeback Sunday evening in California after serving the minimum five-game suspension but Vaughn revealed that that won't be the case.
