Timothy Weah revealed he and Christian Pulisic had been practicing their runs ahead of the US's opening World Cup game after his first-half strike against Wales. 

Weah opened the scoring for Gregg Berhalter's team in the 36th minute of its first Group B clash against Gareth Bale and Co. on Monday.  

Pulisic ran at the Welsh backline before slipping the ball through to Weah in the box, who clipped a shot past Wayne Hennessey before Neco Williams, dashing back to help, could place a challenge.
