Australian cricket great Simon O'Donnell believes Justin Langer needs to be more dignified after he slammed skipper Pat Cummins and other 'cowards' who forced him out of the role.
Speaking on SEN Breakfast on Thursday, O'Donnell said Langer's legacy will be tarnished in the sport if the former opening batsman continues to make his gripes public.
In February, Langer announced his resignation as head coach of the Australia men's team.
His contract was set to expire in June, but he turned down a six-month extension offered by Cricket Australia.
'Unfortunately he [Langer] hasn't ridden off into the sunset, waved goodbye and enjoyed all he's achieved,' O'Donnell told listeners on Thursday.
