Russian fighter Danil Sharov suffered a sickening head injury during his debut kickboxing bout last Friday night - and amazingly tried to keep on fighting on afterwards.
Sharov suffered a fractured skull as a result of a knee to his forehead in a scrap against Danil Kirikov at the FKR Pro 1 event in Moscow.
The injury took place in round two, when the pair briefly clinched and the taller Kirikov fired a knee into his opponent's face, leaving a visible divot in his forehead.
Sharov didn't seem bothered by the injury, briefly touching it with his glove and resuming his fight stance.
Fortunately, his opponent could see the severity of the situation
