The 56-year-old accidentally threw out the individual piece of rugby league history - as well as his wedding ring and a watch - when moving house in the Hunter region, north of Sydney. Glanville kindly donated several items to a Salvation Army store in Jesmond on Sunday - but he didn't mean to include the ring he received after playing in the club's historic win over Manly.
