Portugal take on Uruguay in Group H, with Cristiano Ronaldo's side just one victory away from securing a place in the last-16 of the tournament.

The former Manchester United forward was on target in his side's thrilling 3-2 victory against Ghana to open up Group H and now knows one more win will take them into the knock-out phase. 

Meanwhile, Uruguay will be hoping to get their tournament properly up and running after playing out a 0-0 bore draw with South Korea in their opening match.

Uruguay may have the psychological edge though having won the only previous competitive match between the teams four years ago.

When is Portugal vs Uruguay?

Portugal vs Uruguay looks set to be the biggest match in Group H and takes place on November 28. The game will start at 7pm GMT, 2am EST in the USA and 11pm for Australian Eastern Time.

How to watch the match

The Portugal vs Uruguay game will be aired live on ITV One and can be screened on the ITV Hub for UK viewers. 

US based World Cup fans can view the match on Fox Sports 1 and the Fox Sports website with a valid login. Telemundo and Peacock will also be screening the game.

Australian fans can watch the game for free on SBS, including the live stream.

Where is Portugal vs Uruguay being played? 

Portugal's clash with Uruguay will take place at the Lusail Iconic Stadium  - which is located slightly to the north of Doha.

The ground has a capacity of nearly 90,000 and is a purpose built facility for the tournament and was only opened a year ago shortly after its construction was complete.
