Rio Ferdinand has backed David Beckham's apparent bid to buy Manchester United from the Glazer family.

The Glazers put the Red Devils on the market earlier this week, and the club isn't short of interest despite expectations it will cost billions of pounds to complete any form of deal.

Beckham has reportedly made his interest to open talks clear, and Ferdinand, via GOAL, insisted on his "FIVE YouTube channel that the former midfielder will 'come with a consortium' in a bid to take control of the club.
