We are now well into this year's World Cup as we head into the final group games before the knockout phase of the competition commences.

Milan Borjan receives abuse after Canada's World Cup exit

Canada goalkeeper Milan Borjan should be applauded for his dignity under a hail of abuse as Canada were eliminated from the World Cup in defeat by Croatia. Borjan, 35, is of Serbian heritage, born in Croatia when it was within Yugoslavia and plays for Red Star Belgrade. 

He was taunted relentlessly by rival supporters armed with banners referencing the ethnic cleansing atrocities
