Sports analyst Sid Seixeiro threw an iPad in the Breakfast Television TV studios in Canada in a stunning defense of Alphonso Davies after he was criticized by his country's press.

Canada crashed out of the World Cup with three straight defeats against Belgium, Croatia and Morocco on its return to the tournament - its first time in the competition since 1986.

An article in CBC Sports questioned whether Bayern Munich star Davies' high profile helped the Canada side and Seixeiro was furious at any suggestion Davies was a negative influence.

The 22-year-old sustained a hamstring injury shortly before the tournament in Qatar but recovered in time to play in all three games and scored in their Croatia defeat - his country's first World Cup goal in men's soccer.
