Holland swept the USA aside to advance in the World Cup quarterfinal with a 3-1 victory in Qatar on Saturday.
Memphis Depay opened the scoring in the 10th minute and Daley Blind doubled the lead on the stroke of halftime. Haji Wright managed to get a goal back for USA but hope of fightback last just five minutes before Denzel Dumfries got a third.

Andries Noppert - 7.5
Saved well from Pulisic early on and then Weah before half-time. Two big saves after the break, keeping out Pulisic again twice. Little chance with USA goal.
Jurrien Timber 6.5
Caught out when USA almost scored after half-time, the Ajax defender was otherwise solid in back three with Van Dijk and Ake. Made one crunching tackle on McKennie.
Virgil Van Dijk - 7.5
Back to his imperious best, rarely troubled, both on the ground and in the air. Important interception in the closing stages as Wright bore down on goal.
Nathan Ake - 7
Tidy at the back, good tackle to deny Weah after half-time. The Manchester City defender complements Van Dijk well. Replaced late on.
Denzel Dumfries - 9
Man of the match – created two goals, scored the third. So powerful going forward, crossing incisively for first two goals. Strong in defence too, with a goal-line clearance, and then volleyed in the third with his left-foot.

Marten De Roon - 6.5
Smart and hard-working in front of the back three, he kept the Dutch midfield ticking over before being replaced by Koopmeiners at half-time.
Frenkie De Jong - 7
One neat run when he carried the ball forward in the first half, and then some solid work. Began the move that led to the third goal for the Netherlands. The Barcelona midfielder was booked late in the game for a foul.
Daley Blind - 7.5
Solid on the left of midfield, doing a good defensive job when needed and then popped up with a rare goal, shooting home first time before the break. Also crossed for Dumfries's goal late in the game.
Davey Klaassen - 6.5
Played the more advanced role in midfield, behind Depay and Gakpo, but the former Everton man did most of his best work deeper, in front of the back four. Replaced at half-time by Bergwijn.
Cody Gakpo - 7
Not so much of a goal threat today, but the sought-after PSV youngster was involved in the build-up for both goals and always looked dangerous. Surely a move to the Premier League beckons.
Memphis Depay - 8
Brilliant finish for the opening goal, and some powerful runs without an end product. Had two decent chances after the break, with one snapshot from 20 yards tipped over by Turner, who then saved at his feet. Replaced by Simons late on.
