Barkley was bullish on the prospects of a USA upset earlier this week, saying on Gregg Berhalter's side would be 'opening a can of whoop a**' on their opponent and saying the Oranje were 'in trouble.' The Hall of Famer's prediction did not come to fruition however, as the USA were outclassed Holland as they conceded near-identical goals to Depay and Daley Blind in the first half. Memphis Depay posted the above graphic to Twitter after Holland beat the USA And Depay wasted little time poking fun at Barkley, as he posted a photo of the NBA analyst looking upset with the game's score line above him. 'Lotta bark, no bite,' he captioned the image, which had nearly 60,000 likes at publishing. The Oranje had apparently used Barkley's words as fuel earlier in the week, as they clipped up the basketball legend's words for a social media video to rile up the fanbase. 'In Louis we trust. In this team we trust,' the official Holland account wrote alongside the video. In the video, they also doctored a one-dollar American bill to instead put their own manager's face on, with Van Gaal replacing George Washington. Holland will face Argentina in the quarterfinals after the beat Australia 2-1 later in the day.
