Robbie Slater believes his great mate Graham Arnold would snub overseas offers if Football Australia tabled a new deal following the Socceroos' magical run at the World Cup. 

Arnold's contract with Australia expired following the Socceroos' World Cup exit at the hands of Argentina over the weekend, but having emulated the 'golden generation' of 2006, there is a groundswell of support behind him staying on.

However, Football Australia is conducting a review into the tournament and the entire qualification journey before they come to a decision over Arnold, which is expected to be made in the new year.
