Longtime Atlanta Hawks play-by-play man Bob Rathbun is expected to leave hospital later on Tuesday after medical tests were 'very favorable' following a night in hospital after suffering a medical emergency live on air.
Rathbun was alongside color commentator Dominique Wilkins just before tip off for the Hawks vs Thunder when he slumped back in his chair, dropped his papers and seemed to start having convulsions before losing consciousness.
A statement shared by Bally Sports South and the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday had positive news.
'Bally Sports play-by-play broadcaster for the Atlanta Hawks, Bob Rathbun, stayed in Emory Midtown Hospital in Atlanta overnight for observation and further tests.
'As of this morning, all tests were very favorable and Bob is in great spirits.
