Sports' biggest power couple has launched a new production company.
WNBA legend Sue Bird and US women's soccer star Megan Rapinoe have announced the start of A Touch More, which intends to promote stories of revolutionaries, 'who shape and move culture forward.'
The production company is formed with Bird's media and commerce company, TOGETHXR, which she founded with Rapinoe's USWNT teammate Alex Morgan, as well as snowboarder Chloe Kim and swimmer Simone Manuel. With their partnership, A Touch More and TOGETHXR hope to address the coverage gap in sports media, where women receive just 10 percent of the coverage despite represented roughly 40 percent of all athletes.
