Nasser Al-Khelaifi has ridiculed the 'stupid plan' to revive a breakaway European Super League, insisting that fans 'will never let it happen'.
Al-Khelaifi is president at Paris Saint-Germain, who are one of the elite Champions League clubs that never got involved in the originally foiled Super League last year.
A company called A22 Sports has since been recruited with both Barcelona and Real Madrid still keen for a breakaway league - but Al-Khelaifi, who is also chairman of the European Club Association (ECA) - is not worried.

'The fans will never let it happen. Clubs will never let that happen,' Al-Khelaifi told Sky News from Qatar, where he is running a daily Padel tournament around World Cup matches.
'Nobody will join them. Nobody will go to the stadium, fans. Nobody will organise anything.'
A22 Sports held a meeting with UEFA last month regarding a potential Super League - but again they were met with fierce resistance.
A22 Sports' new CEO Bernd Reichart said after the summit that they had 'agreed to disagree on a lot of topics' but insisted they would 'continue to engage with stakeholders' and push forward with their proposals.
