After excelling at the World Cup in Qatar, a number of Socceroos stars will return to play for their A-League clubs this weekend.

Daily Mail Australia has everything you need to know ahead of the round seven action - including where the likes of Garang Kuol and Mat Leckie are playing on Saturday and Sunday.

Channel 10 will televise two live matches this weekend, which are outlined below.

Brisbane Roar v Adelaide United, Kayo Stadium, Friday, 7.45pm

Craig Goodwin is tipped to feature first up for the Reds when they travel to Redcliffe to take on the Roar.

The skipper may start off the bench - and his confidence will be high after he was a standout for Graham Arnold's squad in the Middle East.

Goodwin also had a message for football fans across the nation after the Socceroos' World Cup campaign ended: come and support your team.

'We hope that what we (Socceroos) achieved can help grow the game back home,' he said.

'Because the A-League is better than it is perceived. The quality of Australian football is better than it's perceived.

'It has been that way for a long time, but hopefully what we have achieved can put Australian football on the map and help the game grow.'

Wellington Phoenix v Western Sydney Wanderers, Saturday 5pm, WIN Stadium

The Phoenix are the hosts at Wollongong, on the NSW south coast, and will be looking for their second win of the season.

Marko Rudan's Wanderers are sitting in second spot, but need to score more goals if they are to be legitimate title challengers.

Look for Western Sydney young gun striker Kusini Yengi to show precisely why he could be in the frame for Socceroos selection over the next few years.
