Toto Wolff has urged there is 'no reason' for Lewis Hamilton to leave Mercedes after the end of next season, admitting that the Brit's contract will be 'one of the topics' his team will look into during the winter break.
Hamilton's future in Formula One was speculated at the end of the 2021 campaign after his title tussle with eventual champion Max Verstappen ended in controversial circumstances during the final race in Abu Dhabi.
Although the 37-year-old returned to drive for Mercedes once again last season, his team struggled with a hatful of issues - notably a porpoising car during the first half of the year - and he failed to record a single race win as a result.
