While Lamb is not named as a defendant in the case, an alleged raping of former girlfriend Kendall Ware - a former member of the Vermont swim and diving team - is claimed to be mentioned in the suit. Three women - including Ware - have sued the school, its trustees, among other for violations of Title IX, sex discrimination and denial of equal protection. An alleged sexual assault of Ware by Lamb is claimed to have taken place on September 7, 2019 at an off-campus party hosted by the University of Vermont Basketball team. The suit says the pair began dating in January 2019, dating for 'roughly six months' before they broke up. A Warriors spokesperson offered a statement on the accusations to Rolling Stone. 'Anthony is not a defendant in this recent lawsuit and, to our knowledge, he has never been charged with any wrongdoing in any legal case,' a rep for the Warriors said. 'Prior to signing Anthony in September, we did our due diligence with the NBA and his prior teams, as we do with all players. If any new information comes to light, we will certainly evaluate it and act accordingly.' Lamb attended the university between 2016 and 2020. He went undrafted coming out of college before stints with the Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs and now the Warriors. More to come.
