After weeks of waiting for his invite to this year's Masters, PGA golfer Scott Stallings received a welcome message on Twitter this week from none other than Scott Stallings.
Due to some understandable confusion, the professional golfer's invite was delivered to an amateur golfer bearing the same name.
'Hi Scott,' read a direct message sent to the PGA Tour member. 'My name is Scott Stallings as well and I'm from GA. My wife's name is Jennifer too!!
'I received a FedEx today from the Masters inviting me to play in the Master’s (sic) Tournament April 6-9, 2023. I am [100 percent] sure this is NOT for me. I play but wow! No where (sic) near your level.'
