Eden Hazard is to discuss his Real Madrid future in February, it has been reported, despite the club reportedly wanting to part ways this January.
The Belgian, 32, was signed by the Spanish giants in 2019 from Chelsea for £100m off the back of a sensational few years in which Hazard was consistently among the Premier League's top performers.
However, fitness issues, injuries and difficulties breaking into the team at times have contributed to a miserable three-and-a-half years in which it now appears likely he will not see out the five-year deal agreed when he joined.

According to The Athletic, with Hazard one of the club's top earners - he reportedly can earn up to £13m after tax in a season - Real Madrid are keen to part ways, with the club clearly now convinced that the move will not come good.
But it appears unlikely such a move will happen this month, with it reported that Hazard is set to meet with two agents next month to thrash out plans for his immediate future, concerning the forthcoming summer.
Hazard was made the club's most expensive ever signing when he joined from Chelsea and, post-Cristiano Ronaldo's departure the summer prior, he was meant to hail in a new era of success for the club.
