The Royal Family's civil war has spilled into the Australian Football world with former Socceroos star and current analyst Craig Foster siding with Prince Harry and lashing the Royals and their empire 'built on racism'.

The split between Harry and Royal Family came to a head on February 19 in 2021 when Buckingham Palace confirmed that the Duke of Sussex and wife Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, would not return as working members of the Royal Family.

Since then there have been several hand grenades thrown, most recently by Harry, who claims he grew up absorbing institutionalised racism.

Harry has now claimed to have been made 'bigoted' by the Royal Family before he even met Meghan Markle in a report released by the BBC.

Foster has urged his followers to read Harry's comments in that report, condemning what he seeas as the Royals' history of racism in the process.    

'Worthwhile reading for all Australians,' he tweeted.

'The Crown is built on racism & plunder of Indigenous populations including First Nations. 

'As we learn our own history, the irreconcilable nature of hereditary privilege & historical racism becomes overwhelming.'

Harry, who infamously wore a Nazi uniform to a costume party in 2005, blamed the Royals for normalising racism in his youth in an interview with 60 Minutes on Monday. 

'I went into this incredibly naive. I had no idea the British press were so bigoted. Hell, I was probably bigoted before the relationship with Meghan.' he said.
