Piers Morgan has astonishingly claimed that Erik ten Hag should beg him for forgiveness and apologise to former Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo if Arsenal go on to win the Premier League.

Ten Hag has rejuvenated the United squad since his arrival in the summer - with the Red Devils on a formidable streak since Ronaldo's explosive departure.

In November, the Portuguese icon gave a bombshell interview to Morgan which ultimately spelled the end of his time at Old Trafford -  in which he claimed the United boss had no respect for him and criticised the club and past and present players.
