Bronny James has narrowed his college choices down to either Ohio State, USC and Oregon and will make his decision in late February or early March, according to reports.
James, the eldest son of NBA legend LeBron, is three-and-a-half years into his high school basketball career with Sierra Canyon, who currently sit at 18–4 and in first place in its division.
The 18-year-old combo-guard is following in the largest possible footsteps, a daunting prospect which would likely throw most young players off their game, yet Bronny does not appear fazed by the family name.
He has showcased his raw potential on several occasions for Sierra Canyon, averaging 20 points in a three-game stretch against Chaminade, Marietta (Ga.) Wheeler and L.A. Loyola, while leaving his teammates and coaches stunned after producing a between-the-legs jam
